Hermanus Whale Festival
There is no better spot to watch the festivities than our own front lawn. Our annual "braai" takes place during the whale festival, so sit back, indulge in a glass of the region's finest and enjoy a uniquely South African experience while watching the whales. (And the look of envy on the faces of passersby.)
Go to the Barefoot Cook for a lazy lunch with a glass of local Pinot Noir. On your way out, buy a book and spend the rest of your afternoon relaxing by the pool.
Take a picnic basket along and enjoy a afternoon and sunset picnic watching the whales playing in the distance.
On the route between Cape Town and Hermanus lies Peregrine farm stall. Situated in the beautiful and fertile Elgin Valley, Peregrine offers an abundance of locally sourced artisanal goods and wholesome, responsibly farmed, fresh produce.
